Jeanne Rose Olivier was born and raised in Paris in 1979. After studying art history, he continued his artistic pursuits and began his journey with photography. While he was in France, his work was spotted by a famous photographer and from there, his work became exposed to a much larger audience. Olivier proceeded to settle down in New York and opened himself a photography studio with plans to work in advertising and fashion. Captivated by the work of Irving Penn, among other well-known photographers, he began his first series of still life photography. Olivier is highly influenced by seventeenth-century paintings of vanities and has a curious interest in botany. Today Olivier lives in Paris and works as an art director and photographer for many successful brands.
